It is high time I posted about this finished piece. This is by far the biggest project which I worked on. You can see some progress shots here from back in August and here mid-September. I just keep finding myself opening this and working on it now and then.

Meta: DM Resources Page
I just added a DM resources page! I have listed out and linked to a multitude of resources I use regularly. I have plans of adding additional resources as I find them as well as uploading some of the resources I made for myself.
If you think I’ve missed an amazing resource let me know in the comments!
Temple of Ulaa
The temple of Ulaa was once a great temple carved deep into the Graytop Mountains. The temple remains abandoned after being besieged by some force, some force willing to torture at least one man.
Now, occupied by very dirty Goblins who don’t respect Ulaa, the temple has fallen into disrepair.
The Pleasant Tome
The Pleasant Tome is a small bookseller in Haling Cove. The shop itself is a part of merchant’s row.
Run an owned by an older Halfling named Bartholomew the Pleasant Tome is much more than it appears on the outside.
Estryae Map Progress Continues
I’ve continued working on my massive overland map project, Estryae. See the previous progress post here.
BHB Level 3: Gideon T. Buttz
Hermit
Ranger
Young Gideon lived an idyllic childhood until Ugrak, and Orc warlord, and his horde turned their eyes to his village. They were all slaughtered and Gideon, the lone survivor, was saved by a wandering human ranger.
The ranger, Ilbert Phoenixpelt, took Gideon in and trained him as an apprentice. They spent the next 50 years in the forest as Ilbert grew into an elderly man learning and hunting. Goblins found Ilbert a much easier target in his less than virile state leaving Gideon to discover his brutally murdered corpse.
Completely focused Gideon used the skills Ilbert had taught him to track and kill the leader of the goblin tribe responsible for his mentor’s death. Once he had finished this task, he wasn’t quite sure what to do with himself. Returning home to the forest he had shared with Ilbert seemed somehow wrong without him there.
And so without too much thought Gideon jumped at the chance to accompany his friend Pika on a journey for self improvement and perhaps a bit of revenge. Mostly he worried that Pika would get himself killed right away without him.
PG Level 2: Zed
Acolyte
Monk
Born on tribal islands to the south; Zeds first few years were idyllic. The small Halfling community thrived near the water fishing easily from the shore.
A warring tribe from a nearby slaughtered the whole island leaving Zenlan for dead. Luckily for Zed, the nearby monastery was left untouched by the tribes. The monks came checking for any still living and upon finding Zed brought him back to the monastery where he grew up.
Upon mastering the basic disciplines, Zeds master sent him out into the world to find his destiny(maybe a bit of revenge too) and improve his skills, as was the tradition of those of his order.

PG Level 2: Clad Goldblugeon
Acolyte
Cleric of Light
Clad grew up in a smaller mining town near Gotter Lake. His parents, miners, unfortunately passed away when he was young in a cave in.
Clad was then raised by priests of Re – Horakhty, the god of the sun and light. As Clad grew and studied he became determined to spread the good work of Re – Horakhty and by doing so increase his standing within his faith.
Clad has dreams of becoming the leader of his sect, to help other orphaned children and others in need and to influence the world for the better.
PG Level 2: Marmon Juggsword
Outlander
Ranger
Marmon was under circumstances unknown left in the woods as a young child and raised by wolves. As he grew he joined up with a nearby wood-elf community and not long after found that his tracking worked just as well on people. Marmon’s success in the forest got him thinking about what kind of success he have if he took on bigger game.
